This is the whole agreement for testing Route to Twenty before it is released. It is short on purpose. By installing a beta build you agree to it. If you would rather not, do nothing further and the invitation lapses.
A pre-release copy of the app, for your own use, on your own device, while the beta runs. It is unfinished. Screens will change, figures will be corrected, and features will appear and disappear between builds. Apple's TestFlight terms also apply to any build delivered through TestFlight.
Route to Twenty is a modeling and education tool. It is not financial, legal, tax or pension advice, and nothing it shows is a promise of what you will be paid. The only official calculation of any benefit is made by the New York City Police Pension Fund, and the only official statement of pay is your pay statement. Do not retire, decline a promotion, take a loan or make any other decision on the app's figures alone. Where the app marks a figure "verify", the rule behind it has not yet been confirmed in writing.
Until the app is publicly released, please do not post screenshots, recordings or builds anywhere public, and do not pass the build on to anyone who was not invited. Showing it to a colleague on your own phone, or talking about it, is fine and welcome. This is not a secret; it is just not finished.
Anything you tell us about the app — a bug, a wrong number, a rule we have missed, a screen that confuses you — we may use freely to improve it, without owing you anything for it and without naming you unless you ask us to. If you send us a document or a screenshot, cover anything personal first.
Nothing you enter into the app is transmitted to us or to anyone else; it is stored on your device only. We hold the email address and rank you gave us to request the invitation, use them to run the beta, and delete them when it closes. See the privacy statement.
Do not reverse-engineer the app, extract its reference data or calculation engine, or use the beta to build or help build a competing product. Do not present the app or its figures as endorsed by the Department, the Pension Fund or any union; they are not.
Route to Twenty, its calculation engine, its reference data and its design are owned by Noventra Labs. The beta gives you a personal licence to use the app, nothing more. The source documents the app cites are public records and remain so.
The beta is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Noventra Labs is not liable for any loss arising from your use of a pre-release build or reliance on its figures. If that sentence ever matters, something has gone wrong that section 2 was meant to prevent; please read it again.
You can stop at any time by deleting the app; that also deletes everything you entered. We can end the beta, or your part in it, at any time. Sections 4, 6, 7 and 8 continue afterwards.
New York law applies. If any part of this agreement cannot be enforced, the rest still stands. Questions to support@noventraconsulting.com. Version 1, September 2026.
