Route to Twenty is a modeling and education tool. It is not financial, legal, tax or retirement advice, and using it does not create an advisory relationship. Every figure it shows is an estimate produced from published documents and from the information you enter.
The New York City Police Pension Fund alone determines credited service, final average salary, eligibility dates and the amount of any benefit. Payroll alone determines your pay. Where the app's reading of a rule is not confirmed in writing it says so on screen. Do not make a retirement, separation, promotion or financial decision on the app's figures without confirming them with the Fund, your union or a professional you engage.
Noventra Labs and Route to Twenty are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or agents of the New York City Police Department, the New York City Police Pension Fund, the City of New York, the Office of Labor Relations, or any union or line organization. Document names appear only to identify sources.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your device secure. The app stores your data only on your device; back it up as you would any other data on your phone.
The app is free to download. The full report is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms; the price is shown in the app before you buy. The purchase is made with and recorded by Apple or Google, not by Noventra Labs: we receive no name, card or account detail from it, and refunds are requested from the store that sold it, under that store's refund policy. The unlock belongs to the store account that bought it; Restore purchase on another phone signed in to the same account opens it there without a second charge. A promotional or offer code redeemed in the app unlocks the same report. Buying the full report does not change what the app is: every figure in it remains an estimate under these terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Noventra Labs is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the app's estimates, from errors in published source documents, or from changes in law, contracts or Fund practice after the app's reference data was last updated. The reference data carries a version date visible in the app.
Route to Twenty, including its software, calculation engine, text, design and its compilation and arrangement of reference data, is owned by Noventra Labs LLC and is protected by copyright and other laws. You are licensed to install it and use it for your own personal planning. No other right is granted.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish or resell the app or any part of it; decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or extract its code, data or text, except to the extent the law does not allow this restriction; use any part of it to build or improve a competing product or service; or remove or alter any copyright or ownership notice or identifying mark in it. The app contains identifying marks that allow copies to be traced.
Published source documents named in the app, such as salary sheets, orders and plan descriptions, belong to their publishers; this section claims no ownership of them. Noventra Labs LLC will pursue violations of this section to the fullest extent of the law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
